Refund Policy

When it's on sale, the SplitClue Pass is sold by Paddle, our reseller. Purchases are generally final, but here's when you can cancel or get your money back, and how to ask.

Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a monthly or yearly Pass at any time, from your account page on splitclue.com or from the link in your Paddle receipt email. The Pass stays active until the end of the month or year you've already paid for, and then it doesn't renew. Cancelling stops future payments; it doesn't refund the current period.

Your legal right to cancel

If you live in the UK, the European Union or another country that gives consumers a right to cancel online purchases (usually within 14 days), you have that right. Because the Pass is digital content, at checkout you can ask for access to start straight away. If you do, and you then use the paid levels, that right to cancel ends where the law allows. If you haven't used the paid levels yet, you can cancel within the legal period for a full refund. Your right to cancel generally covers your first payment, not later renewals.

Other refund requests

Outside those legal rights, purchases are final and we don't offer refunds for partly used periods, for not using the Pass, or for an account closed for breaking our Terms. Paddle, as the merchant of record, may still approve a refund at its discretion if you ask within 14 days of a payment, for example if you were charged by mistake or a technical problem stopped you using the Pass. Each request is reviewed individually.

Founder Pass

The Founder Pass is a one-time purchase and follows the same rules: the legal right to cancel where it applies, and refunds at Paddle's discretion within 14 days of purchase. After that it's final.

How to ask

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 14 days. When a payment is refunded, the Pass it paid for ends. This policy sits alongside Paddle's refund policy and doesn't affect your rights under consumer law.
